White-mantled Wainscot – First for Norfolk

The extremely rare Red Data Book and Biodiversity Action Plan priority moth has just been discovered in SE Norfolk. Two specimens of the moth, Archanara neurica , were trapped by Brian Jones on Tuesday night (31/07/12) in an area of dry reed-bed, having previously been known only from the coastal reed-beds between Thorpeness and Benacre in Suffolk.
