Norfolk status
Found where its foodplant, Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) occurs. Reasonably common throughout much of the British Isles.

Adult moths come to light, often in large numbers. The larvae hatch in the autumn, overwinter, and continue to feed in the spring.

Diagnostic acute angle on the inner edge of the median band.
