Engrailed/Small Engrailed
1947x Ectropis bistortata/crepuscularia
Norfolk status
Recent DNA profiles are now complete, and have apparently proven Engrailed and Small Engrailed are one and the same.

Some still believe them to be separate species, believing that Small Engrailed is paler and flies in May and June, whereas Engrailed (E. bistortata) flies in two generations, March and then in July and August.

Recorded in 10 (14%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2005.
Last Recorded in 2012.
