Immigrant and recent resident.
Coastal habitats, heathland, fens, woodland, scrub, gardens.
Round pure white mark on forewing diagnostic.

Over the last decade this species has established itself in the County, with only 5 records in 2000 up to 408 records in 2011.

Recorded in 55 (80%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2012.
