Norfolk status
Rare.
No recent records in Norfolk.
Predominantly a moorland species that occurs most commonly in the north and west of Britain.

Old 1980s records from Caston and Hockwold and unconfirmed records from Dersingham bog (2003), Barnham Broom (2004) and Strumpshaw (2006).

Larvae was listed during Lunar Yellow Underwing larval surveys near Santon Downham in 2009 and 2010 (G M Haggett.)

(The last known record in Suffolk was of a single adult moth recorded at Santon Downham in 2014.)

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Recorded in 4 (5%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1976.
Last Recorded in 2010.
