Large and distinctive species showing a white thorax and tegula, and large unmarked white dorsal area to forewing.
Widespread, occurring in marshy places amongst willows, banks of streams, open woodland and occasionally parks and gardens.Recorded in 63 (85%) of 74 10k Squares.
