Barrett [VCH 1901] " On July 27th 1870, I captured a single specimen of this rare species upon the embankment of one of the drains at Ranwortb Fen, So far as I know no other specimen has ever been taken in Norfolk, or indeed in any part of the United Kingdom except on the extreme south coast; and the occurrence of this single example, which I still possess, is to me inexplicable"
