Rare.
Endangered species with modern-day records from four fenland sites in Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire and recently (2018) in Suffolk at Lakenheath Fen.

Adult moths are seldom seen, and are more likely to be recorded in the larval stage as mines. Please photo for confirmation.

New for Norfolk in 2019. Mine found on Common Comfrey at Hilgay Fen in VC28. (R. Edmunds, 23/09/19)
