Norfolk status
Woodland, heathland ad scrub.
Very similar to C. alchimiella, shorter and less clearly defined yellow blotch on the forewing. (gen.det advised)
First gen appears around three weeks before C.alchimiella.

Leaf-mine: May - July, September - October.
Short gallery becoming a blotch. Later in up to three cones at the edge of the leaf.

Recorded in 23 (33%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1989.
Last Recorded in 2012.
