Local. Rare.
Distinctive Phyllonorycter, with black head tuft, metallic lead-grey thorax and silvery-white markings strongly edged with black.

Leaf-mine: July, September - October
Mine long and narrow, often several to one leaf.

Recorded in 24 (35%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1874.
Last Recorded in 2013.
