Norfolk status
One of four very similar Coleophora species found in Norfolk. Metallic bronzy green with purple sheen at apex of forewing.

[MBGBI vol3 inadvertently merged two valid species alcyonipennella (517) and frischella (517a).
Both species have been recognised from the British Isles (specimen in BMNH from 1850 has been re-determined as C. frischella). C. frischella has been recorded as far east as Hertfordshire and Essex. Specimens should therefore be retained for verification.]

Recorded in 22 (32%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2002.
Last Recorded in 2013.
