Norfolk status Occurs wherever major foodplants grow, most plentiful amongst blackthorn scrub near the coast.
The 'Pistol Case-bearers' are so named from the resemblance of their larval cases to an old flintlock pistol !Recorded in 13 (19%) of 69 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1874. Last Recorded in 2012. |
