Widespread and common adventitious species.
Variable species with some very dark specimens.

NOTE: It may be advantageous to retain any small dark looking Blastobasis since B. maroccanella was added to the British list in 2014.

variety of habitats inc Yew woodland, heath and gardens, predominantly in coastal areas.

Recorded in 53 (77%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1988.
Last Recorded in 2014.
