Norfolk status Variable species, with several named forms and subspecies. Ground colour from yellowish to white. Open habitats.
Form ab.obsoletissima orange ground colour with brown veins, first recorded at Wells, 1950 (NHM - Cockayne) later at Holme Dunes 1999 and 2001 (G. Hibberd). All that is known of this remarkable form is that it inhabits the east coast of England from Suffolk to Lincs. (NMS No.50 & 60 1999, 2001)
