Norfolk status
Widespread and common.
New resident in Norfolk from 2002.
Inhabiting broad-leaved woodland and parkland, the moths are on the wing in October and November, and reappear after hibernation in early spring, when breeding occurs.

Since first recorded at Wells in 2002, has now rapidly spread over the county, with many records from 2006 onwards.

Recorded in 55 (74%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2002.
Last Recorded in 2024.
