Norfolk status
Scarce in recent years, never commonly recorded.
Usually one generation, sometimes a second generation in Sept.

Adults can be found feeding on Valerian and Buddleia flowers at night in July and August.

Declining species in Norfolk, with only one or two records per year in the last decade.

Recorded in 37 (50%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1894.
Last Recorded in 2021.
