Norfolk status Rare immigrant. Day-flying species, usually rests butterfly-like with wings held closed. Resident in mature woodland areas of central Scotland.
Recorded from Foxley Wood in 1968 noted as a female, probably an immigrant, with the comment "Nobody believes this one"!
Two records in June 1997.
Several UK Migrant records in 2009. Norfolk records taken at Watton 12/06/09 and Scolt Head 13/06/09
A specimen was also taken at Bradwell, Norfolk 11/06/09. (south of Breydon water) This falls under VC25 - Suffolk.
