Norfolk status
A very large, fairly common migrant from southern Europe.
Unable to overwinter, larvae are occasionally found in Norfolk.
Feeds at garden flowers, especially those of the tobacco plant (Nicotiana)

Recorded in 48 (70%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1834.
Last Recorded in 2018.
