Norfolk status
Most widespread and common of the three British 'kittens' found in many habitats.

Very similar to Poplar Kitten. As a guide, although not 100% reliable, the outer edge of the central cross-band is more irregular and usually only finely outlined in black.

Females can be separated by their smaller size (18mm), while males can be separated by their hindwings marked with a grey band. (Poplar Kitten males hindwings are bright white)
