Norfolk status Rare immigrant. Former resident in a small area of the Kent coast.
Almost exclusively recorded at Eccles on Sea, on the east Norfolk coast, where it has been recorded many times since 1997! The number of records from this site suggest the species may be breeding locally.
Several migrant records in 2018 form Weybourne, Overstrand, Eccles and an unusual inland record at New Costessey.
