Norfolk status Believed extinct in Britain until 1997! It had disappeared from most of its range by 1912. Re-colonist and suspected immigrant.

First Norfolk record for a Century(?) taken at a garden trap in central Norwich (I. Lyndsay, 2009). Two records at two Norwich gardens in 2010. New garden record from Bowthorpe, Norwich in 2011, Costessey in 2012. Recorded at several sites in the Norwich area in 2013.
Larvae found to be abundant on Great and Prickly Lettuce at Thetford, VC28 in 2013. It was last recorded in VC28 in 1871.
