Norfolk status
Scarce.
Open areas where the foodplant grows.
Overwinters as an egg, the larva feed on the catkins of Black Poplar and other poplars including Lombardy poplar.

Scattered Norfolk records, never reaching double figures annually, from across the county. Recent West Norfolk Fenland records including Denver, Welney, Upwell and West Walton suggest a preference for this area.
