Norfolk status
Localised to coastal areas and mainly the Norfolk Broads.
Fens, marshes, wetter areas where reed occurs.

Used to be known as Powdered Wainscot.

The pure white hindwing distinguishes Reed Dagger from a number of superficially similar wainscots.

Recorded in 38 (51%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1873.
Last Recorded in 2024.
