Norfolk status
Common, and most likely of the 'Ears' in coastal areas.
Often paler than other 'Ears', with slightly longer wings and narrow, often whitish stigmata.
Salt-marshes, sand-dunes, fens.

The 'Ear' moths, or Amphipoea species are so alike that it is not usually reliable to distinguish them without referring to their genitalic structure.
