Norfolk status A rare immigrant species, which has occurred less than 100 times in Britain. Singleton recorded at West Runton, Norfolk. 13th Oct 1959.
A male specimen of this species, in perfect condition, came to MV light here on the night of 13th October. This would appear to be only the fourth from this country. R G Todd. (Ent. Rec V71 1959 p268.)
Recorded by John Curtis (British Entomology Vol 5. 1823 - 1840) as August, Hethersett by H. Brown, Esq. C. Barrett (VCH, 1901) "I know of no more recent capture in the county."
