Local, never commonly recorded.
Usually one generation, sometimes a second generation in Sept.
Recent colonist since the late 1800s.
Adults can be found feeding on valerian and buddleia flowers at night in July and August.

Recorded in 37 (50%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1894.
Last Recorded in 2021.
