Norfolk status
Scarce.
New to Britain in 1926 near Southampton, the species has a two year life cycle, and is remarkable in that moths are rarely seen or bred in odd years, appearing only in even years.

Day-flying species, and like many of the clearwings with the recent popular use of pheromone lures, this species appears to be more widespread than previously thought.
