Red forewing tip and broad red band on abdomen.
Sallow carr, swamp, osier or withy beds, riverbanks, flooded pits and ponds. Other damp marshy areas.
Scatter of records from around the county

Can often be found by day, without the use of a lure, feeding at flowers.

Pheromone attractants: myo, or tip, or tip+ves, or myo+tip+ves. NEW- for.
Pheromone activity day times: 13:00-18:00.
