Norfolk Status
Rare immigrant to southern England from mainland Europe.

This species has now colonised several sites along the Waveney on both the Norfolk and Suffolk side of the river, with records from Aldeby and SMG moth events at North Cove, Carleton Marshes and the Somerleyton estate.

Care must be taken as the moth could be overlooked as a small, dark Catoptria falsella

New for Norfolk at Horsey in 2015 when three specimens came to light on same night (T. Hodge, 06/07/15)

Verification Grade Comment: Very scarce immigrant
