Status Unconfirmed. Restricted to the highlands of Scotland, with possibly still an isolated population in Worcestershire.
Norfolk records are inconclusive, and probably erroneous. Recorded on an old BRC record card as in the Brecks 1925. It is documented as "certainly occurred in... W. Norfolk, 1925, specimen in Taunton museum." (MBGBI 7.2. 1992) However, recent enquires have revealed that none of the 34 specimens at Taunton museum are from Norfolk, although 6 specimens in the Harris Doidge's collection given by Butler in 1933 have no data. No reference can be found in any of the entomological journals of the time. [JW] | Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required. | |
