Rare immigrant and resident on Channel Islands.

Local in woodland on Jersey, where present since at least 1917, but not recorded on the British mainland until 19 July 2003, when a female was trapped at Portland, Dorset.

First recorded in Norfolk in 2018 at Ridlington (M. A'Court, 30/07/18)
