Conifer plantations.
A fairly distinctive species with two main forms. Might possibly be confused with Dusky Peacock (Macaria signaria) but an obvious orange-buff subterminal band is present even in the melanic form (f. nigrofulvata)Recorded in 59 (80%) of 74 10k Squares.
