Status
Widespread and locally common, fairly consistently recorded in recent years. The Brecklands of Norfolk and Suffolk being one of its key national strongholds.
Broadleaved woodland on chalk, gravel or clay, hedgerows, heathland, scrub.

Adult moths can be seen at the flowers of Burdock after dark.
Larvae feed on a variety of plants.
