Status Local. Nationally Scarce on dry, sandy habitats, this moth is mostly found around the coast. Fairly well recorded at Norfolk coastal sites, although appears to be in decline in recent years.
Characteristic pair of vertically opposed small whitish dots (resembling a white colon) on the distal margin of the dorsal half of the stigma.Recorded in 27 (36%) of 74 10k Squares. First Recorded in 1800. Last Recorded in 2023. |
