Status
Rare immigrant and resident in Scotland, North Wales and Northern England.
Most of the immigrant specimens are of the form f. cinerascens, an ash-grey form occurring in Germany.
Records of single adults from Norfolk at Holme in August 1975 (P. Clarke), Hickling in 1976 (T. Peet) and Docking in 1996 (R. Skeen).
