Status
Most likely of the two species of Ear Moth found in Norfolk to be recorded inland.
Less restricted to damp habitats than Saltern Ear, found on grassland, heathland, fens and scrub.
The Ear Moth, or Amphipoea species are so alike that it is not usually reliable to distinguish them without referring to their genitalic structure.
