Foodplant:   Clovers, Bird's-foot-trefoil, Black Medick and Lucerne other vetches and trefoils.

Day-flying moth, English name from the fact that it is often found in company with Burnet moths!
Meadows, woodland rides, embankments, grassland, usually on chalky soils
