Norfolk Status
Very rare in Britain, only known from a few central English counties.

Very similar to variegated forms of C. elongella and C. betulicola.

Up until recently it was thought unlikely to occur in Norfolk, however, recently recorded in Suffolk on several occasions from 2013 (males and females)

It is now thought that this species will feed on field maple as well as possibly sycamore, any mines found should be reared through to confirm.
