Very local, Rare.
Similar to P. blancardella, with which it shares foodplants, but is generally brighter and cleaner in appearance.

Leaf-mine: June - July, September - October
Mine difficult to distinguish between P.cydoniella and P.blancardella. Must be reared to confirm.
