Recorded at East Wretham in 1981 by Maitland Emmet.
Three old Victorian records listed by Barrett including a VC27 record at Norwich listed as bred from Little Mouse-ear (Cerastium semidecandrum) It is now thought that species bred from this foodplant are a misidentification of Caryocolum alsinella.
