Widespread.
Orange head, deep purple-brown forewing darker beyond the middle.

Leaf-mine: Sept and Oct.
Mine initially narrow with linear frass becoming wider with red frass. Mine often confused with S. crataegella

Mine: Either the leaf or a good photograph required
