Newly recognised as British (Langmaid and Agassiz, 2010) distinguished from C. pasiuana by differences in male and female genitalia.
Earliest known records from London, 1986.

Uniform grey with only a hint of characteristic Cnephasia pattern markings.

Genitalia determination required to distinguish from similar species C. pasiuana and C. genitalana.
