Norfolk status
Local in hedgerows, gardens, orchards and parks throughout southern England, becoming scarcer northwards to Yorkshire, and unknown in Scotland.

Adults fly at night and are attracted to light. The larvae feed on Elm, living within a spun or rolled leaf. Larvae of the summer brood are much more common than those of the spring generation.

Resembles A. logiana which occurs in Scotland and in Norfolk from 2004.
