Norfolk status
Distinctive species, but quite variable. Pale green ground colour with whitish and blackish markings. Common name from its appearance not foodplant.
Overwinters as an adult.

Recorded on 2nd April 2011 at Dersingham (Allan Drewitt) The only known VC28 record since 1899!
Recorded in 2013 at Overstrand (G. Bond).

Four old Victorian records noted as 'scarce'. (C. Barrett)
Listed at Gillingham Thicks VC27 (1998)

From 2019 the species has been more frequently recorded in Norfolk.

Recorded in 22 (30%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1874.
Last Recorded in 2021.
