Norfolk status
Local, well-distributed and relatively common in woodland and heathland, throughout much of southern and western Britain, north to the Lake District.

Adults difficult to distinguish from other Stigmella species, and more frequently recorded as a leafmine.

First County record(!) of a mine found at Dersingham, Oct 2010 (J, Langmaid)
First for VC27 at Upton Fen in 2014 (S. Wright, 26/07/14)

Leaf-mine: Birch. July - Oct. Usually underside of leaf.

Mine: Either the leaf or a good photograph required
