Norfolk status Scarce in Norfolk. Coniferous woodland, plantations and sometimes isolated spruce trees.
The strongly biciliate-fasciculate antenna of the male and in both sexes the pure white area of the hindwing, together with the lack of a developed ocellus in the forewing, distinguish it from E. subsequana.
