Norfolk status
Rare.
Found on silver fir or isolated trees growing in parkland and mixed woodland. The moth usually keeps to the higher parts of the trees and on sunny afternoons can be seen flying around the tips of the branches.

Known old localities include King’s Lynn and Merton.

Modern-day Norfolk records from the Brecks in the 1990s and from West Runton in 2015.
