Norfolk status
Scarce.
The smallest British moth, rarely seen in the adult stage.
Bronzy brown forewing with silver fascia and purple suffusion.

Leaf-mine: May - Oct.
Very distinctive fine gallery forming a spiral around the egg shell. The inner ring turning bright red before the larva makes an irregular gallery across the leaf.
