Norfolk status Similar to Epiblema cirsiana. Male shows pale hindwing separating it from male E. cirsiana (which has a dark hindwing) Female would require a gen det for confirmation.
Fairly common throughout the British Isles. Found on uncultivated ground, rough meadows, hillsides, coastal cliffs and open woodland, often preferring damp or marshy ground where the marsh thistle grows.
