Scarce. (probably over-looked)
Birch woodland.
Larvae mine (leafmine), creating a blotch mine, in leaves of foodplant. March - May.

Very similar to E. semipurpurella requires reference to the genitalia.

(Note: Females cannot be determined via genitalia)

Mine: Moth needs to be reared and, in some cases, possibly dissected.
